The short version
  • Leo Apps Studio LLC makes and runs every app listed below. This one policy covers all of them.
  • We collect what each app needs to work, and nothing for advertising. We don’t sell or “share” personal information, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • We use a small set of service providers (hosting, database, payments, email, AI) — each listed on our service providers page.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data or have it deleted. See Account & data deletion.

Version 2026-09-26

1. Who we are & what this covers

Leo Apps Studio LLC (“Leo Apps Studio”, “we”, “us”) is an independent software company. We are the business responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described in this policy. It applies to:

ProductWhat it isWhere
Road TravelDriving routes with the weather you’ll meet along the wayiOS app and web app · roadtravel.info, app.roadtravel.info

Some products also have a product-specific privacy page (for example roadtravel.info/privacyand tryleolens.com/privacy) with extra detail about that product. Those pages supplement this policy. If they ever conflict, the version that gives you more protection applies.

2. Information we collect

Studio website

This website has no accounts, forms, analytics or advertising cookies. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability.

Road Travel

  • Account. You can sign in with Apple, Google, a passkey or an email link. We receive your email address and, if you provide them, your name and phone number. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
  • Trips. Origins, destinations and stops (place names and coordinates), departure times, distance, duration and a summary of forecast conditions, stored so your trips sync across devices.
  • Location. With your permission, your device’s location — including in the background during active navigation on iOS — to start trips from where you are and check weather ahead. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
  • Recorded drives (opt-in). Only if you start a recording and consent: a simplified route trace, start/end places and times, distance, duration, speed summaries and the vehicle you attach. Drives are private to your account.
  • Profile & preferences. Vehicle details you add (such as make, model, year, color and an optional photo), units, alert preferences and optional onboarding-survey answers.
  • Subscription & trial. Your Road Travel Pro status, purchase references from Apple or Stripe (never your full card details), and a random app-generated device identifier used only to limit free trials to one per device.
  • Consent & security records. Timestamped records of terms you accept and choices you make (such as marketing opt-in), and sign-in events used for security and fraud prevention.
  • Referral & campaign attribution. If you arrive through a creator’s referral link or a marketing link, we record which link and campaign (UTM tags) brought you, tied to a random visitor identifier and, once you sign up, your account. We use this to understand which channels work and to pay creators their share.
  • Product analytics. A small, fixed set of events (for example “trip planned” or “upgrade screen viewed”) with coarse values such as whole-mile distance. They never include your places, coordinates or route, and they are tied to a random identifier — not your account or email.

Leolens

  • Account & profile. Your email address (for passwordless sign-in), first and last name, phone number, the time and version of the terms you accepted, your marketing choice, and optional sign-up answers (such as how you heard about us and your goals).
  • Business information. Business and location names, addresses, phone numbers and websites, brand aliases, competitors, category and market, and any facts you choose to declare about your business.
  • Reports. The questions we ask AI assistants about your business and market, their answers and citations, and the findings, scores and recommended fixes we generate from them.
  • Your website. We fetch public pages of the websites you give us (as “LeolensBot”) to check structured data and whether AI crawlers can access them.
  • Billing. Stripe customer, subscription and invoice references, plan, amount and refund status (never your full card details), plus the campaign tags and referrer from your first visit.
  • Site visits. On public pages: a random visitor identifier, the page path, referrer and campaign tags. We don’t store IP addresses or browser fingerprints for this.

Find It

Find It isn’t released yet. We’ll update this policy with exactly what it collects before it launches. Our intent is for it to work without an account and to collect no personal information beyond what the App Store provides for purchases.

Business outreach

We sometimes email businesses that we think may benefit from our products (for example, a hotel, dental practice or agency that could use Leolens, or a creator we’d like to partner with on Road Travel). For this we keep business contact details from public sources — such as the business’s own website, industry associations, tourism boards and business directories — including business name, website, a contact’s name, work email and phone, and notes about why we reached out. For businesses we contact about Leolens, we may run a short AI visibility check beforehand so our email is specific. We keep the emails we send and any replies. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs permanently.

3. How we use information

  • Provide the products: plan routes and match forecasts to your arrival time; produce Leolens reports and fixes; sync your data across devices.
  • Create and secure your account, and keep subscriptions and entitlements in sync.
  • Process payments and prevent abuse, including limiting free trials to one per account and device.
  • Send transactional email (sign-in links, reports, receipts, account notices).
  • Send product news and trial tips only if you opt in, and business outreach as described above — you can opt out of either at any time.
  • Understand which features and marketing channels work, using the limited analytics and attribution described above.
  • Keep our services secure, debug problems, comply with law, and enforce our Terms.

We don’t use personal information for targeted advertising, we don’t sell it, and we don’t build profiles to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. AI features

Some features send information to AI providers to generate results:

  • Road Travel sends place names and trip facts (distances and forecast conditions) — not your precise coordinates or identity — to write trip briefings.
  • Leolens sends questions about businesses and markets (business names, competitors, categories and locations) to AI assistants, and uses an AI model to evaluate the answers against the facts you declared. These prompts are about businesses, not about you personally.

We use these providers through their business APIs, whose terms restrict them from training their models on our API data. We don’t use your content to train AI models ourselves. AI-generated output can be wrong — see our Terms.

5. How we share information

  • Service providers. Companies that host, store, process payments, send email, provide maps and weather, or run AI models for us, only as needed to provide those services and under contracts that limit their use of the data. The full list, by product, is on our service providers page.
  • App stores and payment processors (Apple, Stripe) when you buy a subscription; they handle payment details under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or us.
  • Business transfers. If Leo Apps Studio or a product is sold, merged or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy for that information.
  • With your direction. Anywhere else only when you ask us to.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

  • This website uses no cookies, local storage or third-party scripts. Our fonts are served from our own servers. See our Cookie notice for a per-product list.
  • Road Travel web stores your sign-in session and preferences in your browser, uses a random analytics identifier (PostHog, with no session recording), and loads map tiles, place search and fonts from third parties (Esri, Photon, Google Fonts), which receive your IP address as part of the request.
  • Leolens stores your sign-in session, a random visitor identifier, first-visit campaign tags and your theme preference in your browser’s local storage. It sets no advertising or third-party analytics cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request.
  • iOS apps don’t use advertising identifiers and don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites, so they don’t ask for tracking permission.

You can clear browser storage at any time in your browser settings; you may need to sign in again.

7. How long we keep information

InformationHow long
Account, trips, preferences, Leolens profile & businessesWhile your account is active. Deleted when you delete your account or ask us to (see deletion).
Road Travel recorded drivesUntil you delete the drive or your account.
Leolens AI answers & benchmark dataAI assistants’ public answers about businesses and markets may be kept after an account closes to maintain industry benchmarks, separated from your account and personal details.
Billing, tax & transaction recordsAs long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years).
Free-trial record (Road Travel)A minimal record that a trial was used, kept after deletion so trials stay one per account and device.
Opt-out & suppression listKept permanently, so we never email you again after you unsubscribe.
Business outreach recordsContacts we haven’t emailed can be deleted at any time; records of emails sent and replies are kept as a compliance record.
Emails you send usAs long as needed to help you, then deleted when no longer useful.
Server & security logs, backupsShort rolling periods set by our hosting providers; backups age out on a rolling basis.

8. How we protect information

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and our providers’ encryption at rest, database row-level security so each account can only reach its own records, verified and expiring sign-in tokens, least-privilege service accounts, and secrets kept in a managed vault rather than in apps you download. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we’ll notify you and regulators as the law requires. More on our Security page.

9. Your rights & choices

  • Access & portability. Ask for a copy of your data. Road Travel iOS: Settings → Export my data. For anything else, email us.
  • Deletion. Road Travel iOS: Settings → Delete account. Everywhere else, email us. Details on Account & data deletion.
  • Correction. Update your profile in the app, or ask us.
  • Location & drives. Turn location off in your device settings; delete any recorded drive in the app.
  • Marketing & outreach. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us. Opting out doesn’t affect transactional messages.

To make a request, email leo.apps.studio@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity (usually by replying from the email tied to your account). We’ll respond within 45 days (30 days where required), and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct and delete it; to receive it in a portable format; and to opt out of its sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and use for profiling. We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are defined in these laws), we don’t use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we don’t knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

In the past 12 months we collected the categories described in section 2: identifiers (such as name, email and account IDs), commercial information (subscriptions and purchases), internet activity (limited product events and page visits), geolocation (Road Travel, with permission; precise location is sensitive information we use only to provide the feature you asked for), professional information (business contacts for outreach), and inferences limited to product settings. We disclose these only to the service providers described above, for the business purposes described in this policy. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you’re still unhappy, you may contact your state attorney general.

11. EEA & UK: legal bases and rights

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Contract: providing the products and subscriptions you signed up for.
  • Consent: location access, drive recording and marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time; this doesn’t affect earlier processing.
  • Legitimate interests: security and fraud prevention, improving our products with limited analytics, and business-to-business outreach to publicly listed business contacts — always with an easy opt-out.
  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting and responding to lawful requests.

You also have the rights to object to processing based on legitimate interests (including outreach — we’ll stop), to restrict processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

12. International transfers

We and our service providers operate mainly in the United States, and information may be processed there and in other countries. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, which are included in our providers’ data-processing terms.

13. Children

Our products aren’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and Leolens is for businesses and adults only. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.

14. Changes & contact

We’ll update this policy as our products change and revise the date and version at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll give notice in the affected app or by email before it takes effect.
