Privacy Policy
After Sunday, by Leo Apps Studio LLC
Effective date: October 12, 2026
The short version
- There is no account. We don't know who you are.
- Your recordings stay on your iPhone or iPad. The app never uploads them.
- Your transcripts, notes, photos, verses and study packs are kept on your device and in your own iCloud. We cannot read your iCloud.
- Study packs are made on your device. They need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence.
- Nothing you record or write is sent to us. We run no server for the app.
- No ads. No tracking. We don't sell your data.
Where your data lives
| Data | Where it lives | Does it leave your device? |
|---|---|---|
| Audio recordings | On your device only | Never, in this version |
| Transcripts, notes, photos, verses, study packs | On your device and in your own iCloud | Only to your own iCloud. Never to us |
| Purchase records | Apple | They are Apple's records. The app sends them to no one |
| Usage analytics | TelemetryDeck | Only if you turn it on. Anonymous, with no content |
The rest of this page explains each row.
1. What stays on your device
- Audio. Recordings are saved on the device that made them. They are never sent to us, to an AI service, or to anyone else. If you back up your iPhone or iPad to iCloud or to a computer, that backup is made by Apple's backup feature, not by the app, and it includes the app's recordings.
- Transcription. The words are turned into text on your device, with Apple's speech technology. The audio is not sent anywhere for this.
- Finding Bible verses. This runs on your device. The verse text comes from the Bible inside the app.
- Study packs. They are written on your device. Section 3 explains how.
- Your settings.
2. What goes to your own iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps a copy of your text content in your private iCloud space, so it appears on your other devices:
- each sermon's details: title, speaker, church, series, date
- transcripts
- notes and photos
- verses found in your sermons
- study packs
- folders
- Bible highlights and Bible notes
This is your iCloud, run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it. Audio is not included.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, everything stays on the device.
3. Study packs are made on your device
A study pack is the outline, applications, discussion questions, devotional and flashcards that the app makes from a sermon's transcript. Study packs are part of Plus.
- Where they are made: on your iPhone or iPad, by the AI model that Apple Intelligence keeps on the device. The transcript is not sent to us, to an AI company or to anyone else for this.
- What you need: an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in the device's Settings. For an iPhone, that means iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
- On other devices: the app cannot make a study pack. It does not send the sermon anywhere to make one instead.
- Where they are kept: on your device and in your own iCloud (section 2), like your transcripts and notes.
There is no cloud processing in this version. We run no server for After Sunday.
4. Sharing a group guide
A group guide is a short version of a study pack for a small group. You can share it as an image or a PDF. Both are made on your device. The app then opens the share sheet of your iPhone or iPad, and you choose where the file goes, for example Messages or Mail. We never receive it.
- What a guide contains: the sermon's title, and only the sections you switched on. These can be the big idea, the outline points, the discussion questions, the verses with their text, the devotional, and the speaker and church name.
- What is never in it: audio, the full transcript, your personal notes, your photos.
There are no share links and no shared web pages in this version.
The same is true when you share or export your own notes and transcript as a PDF or a text file: the file is made on your device, and it goes only where you send it.
5. Purchases
Purchases are made through Apple. We never see your card or your Apple Account.
The app asks Apple's App Store, on your device, whether you have Plus. It does not send your purchase record to us or to anyone else.
If you turned on anonymous usage data (section 6), a completed purchase is counted as one anonymous event. The event says which plan it was and whether it started with a trial. It carries nothing that identifies you.
6. Analytics
Analytics is off unless you turn it on. If you turn on Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data, the app sends anonymous usage events to TelemetryDeck, so we can learn which parts of the app work and which fail. Examples: "a recording stopped, 30 to 45 minutes long", "the paywall was shown", "a transcript failed, with an error code".
- Events never contain titles, names, transcript text, notes or Bible references.
- Lengths and counts are sent as ranges, not exact numbers.
- Events carry an anonymized ID. We cannot tie them to a person.
- There are no advertising tools in the app, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
To turn analytics on or off: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. While it is off, nothing is sent.
7. Other times the app uses the internet
We run no server for the app, and the app does not check in with us when it opens. None of the cases below carry your recordings, transcripts or notes.
- Speech model. The first time you use a language, your device may download Apple's speech model from Apple.
- Podcast import. If you paste an Apple Podcasts link, the app asks Apple's podcast directory for the address of the show's feed. It then reads the feed and downloads the episode from the podcast's publisher. If you paste a feed address, the app goes straight to the publisher. Those servers see your network address and which podcast or episode was asked for, as with any download.
- These pages. Opening the privacy, terms or support page loads it from our website.
8. Support and diagnostics
- If you e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you.
- Crash reports are kept on your device. They reach us only if you choose to send a diagnostics report from Help. That report contains app and system versions, your device model, counts, sizes and error codes. It contains no titles, names, notes or transcript text.
- If you agreed in your iPhone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us crash reports. That is Apple's setting, not ours.
9. Children
After Sunday is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, e-mail us and we will delete it.
10. How to delete everything
In the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete all data. You are asked to type a confirmation. This deletes:
- every sermon, with its audio, transcript, notes, photos, verses and study pack
- every Bible highlight and Bible note
- every folder
It deletes them on the device and in your iCloud. There is nothing to delete on a server of ours, because we run none. The app goes back to how it was when you first installed it, with every setting reset. Your purchases are not affected.
Four things to know:
- Deleting the app from your phone is not enough. It does not remove what is in your iCloud. Use Delete all data first.
- Recordings belong to the device that made them. If you recorded on more than one device, use Delete all data on each one.
- Files you already sent are not deleted. A group guide, a PDF or an export that you shared is outside the app. The app cannot take it back.
- Analytics cannot be deleted one person at a time, because they are anonymous. Purchase history stays with Apple.
You can also delete a single sermon, or turn analytics off, without deleting everything.
11. How to get a copy of your data
Settings → Privacy → Export all data. The app makes one zip file with a PDF and a text file for every sermon, and a file with your Bible highlights and notes. It is made on your device, and you choose where it goes. Audio is included only if you turn on Include audio, and only audio that is on that device.
12. Companies that help us
| Company | What it does for the app | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | The App Store, purchases, iCloud, the speech model, Apple Intelligence on your device | Your purchases; your own iCloud data, which we cannot read |
| TelemetryDeck | Anonymous usage statistics | Anonymous events with no content, only if you turn usage data on |
No AI company receives your sermons. We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
13. Where data is processed
Leo Apps Studio LLC is in Texas, in the United States. The companies above may process data in the United States and in other countries.
14. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because the app has no accounts and no server, we usually hold nothing we can connect to you. Write to us and we will tell you what we can find.
15. Changes to this policy
If the app starts to collect, send or keep something new, this page changes before the app does. The date at the top shows the latest version.
