Terms of Use
After Sunday, by Leo Apps Studio LLC
Effective date: October 12, 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Leo Apps Studio LLC ("we", "us"), the maker of After Sunday. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data: https://leoappsstudio.com/after-sunday/privacy
2. What the app is
After Sunday records a sermon, turns it into text on your device, finds the Bible verses the speaker cited, and gives you a place for notes. It also includes a Bible reader. These parts are free to use.
Plus is a paid option. It adds study material made from the sermon (section 7) and importing audio (section 9). The study material is made on your device and needs an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence.
There are no accounts. You don't sign up and we don't know who you are.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
3. Your content is yours
Your recordings, transcripts, notes, photos and study packs belong to you, or to whoever owns them. We claim no rights in them.
They are kept on your device and in your own iCloud. We cannot see them. Nothing you record or write is sent to us, and we run no server for the app. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Keeping your device and your iCloud safe and backed up is up to you. Recordings stay on the device that made them and do not sync to your other devices. Unless your device backup includes them, a lost or erased device means lost recordings.
4. Recording responsibly
You are responsible for having permission to record.
- Record only where your church allows it.
- An open worship service is generally fine to record for your own use. For a small group, a prayer meeting or a private conversation, ask everyone first. Some states and countries require everyone's consent to be recorded.
- A sermon usually belongs to the church or the speaker. Share a full transcript only if your church allows it.
We are not responsible for recordings you make or share without permission.
5. The Bible text
The app includes these translations: King James Version, American Standard Version, World English Bible, Berean Standard Bible, and Reina-Valera 1909. All are in the public domain. Their sources are listed in the app under Settings → About → Bible translations.
Verse text in the app always comes from these translations. AI never writes it.
6. Study material made by AI
Study packs (the outline, applications, discussion questions, devotional and flashcards) are written by AI from what the speaker said. The AI is the model that Apple Intelligence keeps on your device. The sermon is not sent to an AI company.
- They can be wrong or incomplete. The speech-to-text step can also mishear words, names and verse references.
- They are a study aid. They are not pastoral, doctrinal, medical, legal or other professional advice, and they do not speak for your church or your pastor.
- We instruct the AI to stay with what the speaker said and to add no teaching of its own. We cannot promise it always succeeds.
- You can edit any part of a study pack. If something is wrong, tell us at patrick@leoappsstudio.com.
7. Plus
What study packs need
Study packs are made on your device. They need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on. For an iPhone, that means iPhone 15 Pro or newer. On other devices the app cannot make study packs.
The group guide and the devotional reminders come from a study pack, so they need one too. Importing audio does not need Apple Intelligence.
You can buy Plus on any device, including one that cannot make study packs. Buying Plus does not change what the device can do: we run no server that could make a study pack in its place. So on such a device the app tells you, before you buy, that study packs cannot be made there and what Plus adds instead. It adds importing audio. It also opens the group guide and the devotional reminders for study packs you made on another of your devices; those study packs reach the device through your iCloud, and you can read them there with or without Plus.
Plans
| Plan | Price in the United States | Trial | Renews by itself? | Family Sharing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plus Annual | $49.99 a year | 7 days free, new subscribers only | Yes, every year | Yes |
| Plus Monthly | $9.99 a month | None | Yes, every month | No |
These are the only two plans. There is no weekly plan. The app always shows your real price, in your currency, before you confirm. If this table and the app disagree, the app is right.
Paying and renewing
- Payment goes through your Apple Account. We never see your card.
- If you start the free trial and don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you are charged the annual price when it ends.
- When a trial starts, the app asks whether you want a reminder. If you say yes and allow notifications, it sends one 2 days before the trial ends. Either way, the same reminder shows in the app under Settings → Plus during the last 2 days.
- A subscription renews by itself at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancelling
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then After Sunday. Or in the app: Settings → Plus → Manage subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
Apple handles all refunds. Ask at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund a purchase ourselves.
When Plus ends
Nothing you made is locked or deleted. Study packs and imported sermons stay readable and can still be exported. You need Plus to make new study packs, regenerate sections, get devotional reminders, import audio, and share a group guide as an image or a PDF.
Codes
Churches may hand out codes for Plus. Redeem one in the app under Settings → Plus → Redeem Code. Codes are issued through Apple and follow Apple's rules.
8. Sharing a group guide
With Plus you can share a group guide as an image or a PDF. The file is made on your device, and you choose who gets it. It is not put on the web, and we never receive it.
- You are responsible for what you share and for who you share it with. Don't share anything you have no right to share.
- Once you have sent a file, the app cannot take it back.
9. Importing audio
Plus lets you import an audio file you already have, or a podcast episode through the download link its publisher provides. Import only audio you have the right to use.
The app does not download from YouTube or other video sites.
10. What you may not do
- Record or share anything where you have no permission to.
- Use the app to break the law or someone else's rights.
- Try to break or get around the app's limits.
- Resell the app.
11. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or remove features. Recording, transcripts, verses, notes, the Bible and study packs run on your device. They do not depend on a server of ours, because we run none.
Some parts depend on Apple: purchases, iCloud sync, the speech model and Apple Intelligence. Podcast import depends on the podcast's publisher. Those parts may be unavailable at times.
If we ever stop offering the app, what is on your device and in your iCloud remains yours.
12. No warranty
We work hard to make sure a recording is never lost. Even so, the app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that every recording, transcript, verse reference or study pack will be complete and correct.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Leo Apps Studio LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost recordings, notes or other content. Our total liability to you for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Plus in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
14. Apple
Your use of the app is also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
These terms are between you and Leo Apps Studio LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
16. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. A change to a subscription's price is announced to you by Apple before it takes effect.
