Puddle
About Puddle
What is Puddle?
Learning games for children aged 3 to 7 (twelve so far, with more on the way), hosted by Puddle the elephant and four friends. Each game speaks its instructions aloud and adapts its difficulty to the child.
Which games are free?
Count & Sort Cove, Letter Lagoon, Color Studio and Music Garden are free, forever. Puddle Plus unlocks all the others, including new games as we add them.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything is on the device. The internet is used only by Apple's App Store for purchases, and to open these pages from the parent zone.
Which devices does it run on?
iPad and iPhone with iPadOS or iOS 26 or later.
For grown-ups
How do I open the grown-ups area?
On the home screen, press and hold the small grey people icon at the top right, keep holding the button that appears, then answer the sum. Purchases, links and settings all live behind it.
Can I limit play time?
Yes. Grown-ups > Controls > Daily limit. Two minutes before the end the game says it is almost time to rest; then the games sleep until the next day, or until you lift the limit.
Can more than one child play?
Up to three children, each with their own nickname, picture, progress and stickers. Add them in Grown-ups > Children.
There is no sound.
Turn the volume up with the side buttons. Puddle plays even with the ringer switch off, unless a grown-up turned that off in Controls.
Puddle Plus
What does it cost?
Puddle Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The price for your country is shown in the app before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
In the Settings app on your iPad or iPhone: your name > Subscriptions > Puddle. Plus stays on until the end of the period already paid for.
Does it cover the whole family?
Yes. Puddle Plus works with Family Sharing, so one subscription covers every device in your family.
