Terms of Use

Puddle

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Leo Apps Studio LLC, trading as Leo Apps Studio ("we", "us"), about the Puddle app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who it is for

The app is made for children aged 3 to 7 to play with the permission of a parent or guardian. The grown-up who installs it, sets it up or buys Puddle Plus agrees to these terms on the child's behalf.

2. What you are allowed to do

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install the app on devices you own or control and to use it with the children in your care. The licence ends if you break these terms. Everything in the app, including its code, characters, art, sounds, words and name, belongs to us or to those who license it to us, and you get no ownership of any of it.

3. What you must not do

4. Puddle Plus

5. Your progress

Progress is stored on your own device. If you delete the app or a child's profile, or lose or reset the device, that progress may be lost and we will not be able to restore it. Puddle Plus can be restored from Grown-ups > Plus > Restore purchases.

6. Changes to the app

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw the app or any part of it at any time. We try to give notice of anything significant but cannot always do so.

7. No guarantees

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or suited to a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded.

8. Our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data or progress, or for anything outside our reasonable control. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app and Puddle Plus in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending this agreement

You can end it at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may end or suspend your licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 7, 8 and 11) continue after it ends.

10. If you got the app from Apple's App Store

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the price you paid for it, if any; beyond that, to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property. You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection that the mandatory laws of the place where you live give you. Before starting any formal claim, please write to us so we can try to sort it out.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we will say so in the app. Carrying on using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
